Teucrium fruticans (Bush Germander)

Teucrium fruticans (Bush Germander) is shrub with cheerful evergreen silvery-green leaves. Specially in winter during dark days they seems to glow and brighten up the garden.
In late winter trough mid spring it produces an abundance of small pale blue flowers. In gardens in can become 8 ft. height and 10 ft. wide and could be used as a hedge plant. If you want to use it in a border, you can prune it heavily after flowering. You even can use it as a topiary plant.
It loves poor soil and can do, after it is established with very little water. An excellent plant for our Redding climate (Zone 7-10).
